The Lucky Few

Avis Family

Imagine being told that you would never be able to have children naturally. You make the decision to grow your family through adoption and over several years you learn how to embrace the unexpected because of how your family has grown.

That’s what happened for Heather and Josh Avis. They have 3 adopted children and two have Down Syndrome. Their experience led them to create a social awareness brand on a mission to create a more inclusive world with an emphasis on shifting the Down Syndrome narrative from negative to positive.
